History Documentaries
Inside the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley, there’s a beautiful blue room. For many, it’s a place for meetings and social gatherings. But, did you know that the ‘Hillary Tenzing Room’ is a space of historical significance? It honors Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. The duo became the first people to reach the 29,035 foot-summit of Mt. Everest in 1953. Hotel GM Paul Tormey gives us a tour and shows us the historical artifacts from that climb that exist today.
